Why Single Buys
A Single Buys alert means one tracked wallet bought the token.
When tracked wallets move, Single Buys prints it. Green Onions Gems adds the context: size against liquidity, wallet history and what those wallets did after.
Green Onions Gems reads on-chain buying as evidence, with limits. One wallet can split into ten; a fresh wallet can belong to the deployer. The checks below cover both cases.
One habit: Open the buying wallet and read its last twenty trades before trusting the buy. Check whether several buying wallets were funded from one source a few minutes earlier.
The filter
Green Onions Gems does not show every Single Buys alert. It applies one fixed screen, and the live board above uses the same rule:
- market cap at least $10.0K
- liquidity at least $10.0K
- at least 250 holders
- top-10 wallets holding at most 40 %
At build time the lane held 39 recent alerts covering about 14 hours; 14 of them cleared the screen. Those that passed had a median market cap of $240.2K, median liquidity of $68.6K and about 495 holders. 2 of the 39 lane alerts had liquidity below a tenth of their market cap, which makes exits expensive. Median concentration in the lane: 36 % of supply in the top ten wallets.
